 We are a small in home kennel located in Mount Airy, Maryland with a HUGE love of all animals but especially, the Bloodhound! As a young girl, I was fascinated with the breed, learning about the power and skill of their scenting ability. Finding those who are lost, whether it’s figuratively or literally is what the Bloodhound is best at. With their huge wrinkles, goofy personalities, hilarious antics, work ethic (sleeping is work too!) and serious snuggle squish-ability, you are sure to either find your new best friend or working partner in the Bloodhound. There is so much to love about them, but we will be the first to tell you that the breed is NOT for everyone, PLEASE do your homework on the breed before making a commitment. They SLOBBER everywhere and can be quite stubborn but will also fill your home with immense laughter and love.

 Our mission is to improve, preserve and protect this amazing breed. We breed for sound temperament, health and the wrinkles we all love. As our adult dogs live in our home, we also take pride in raising our puppies inside our home with us. The right start in life is the key to a successful happy life for a hound. The first 8 weeks are filled with daily learning curriculum and exposure to ALL kinds of sights and sounds as well as socialization with people, other dogs and animals. This gives the puppy a foundation that can be built on and one that will stay with that puppy for life.  We also use early bio sensory exercises to help our puppies adapt to life.  The US Military designed this "Super Dog" program to benefit their dogs but further research has shown this program also helps their resistance to disease later in life.   We want to produce happy, healthy, confident pups that adjust to their new homes easily. We also begin potty training, crate training and nail trims as well as play outside as much as the weather pemits. We set our puppies up to either go on as working/service dogs or family pets.   Our pedigrees contain some of the most well known and sturdy lines around such as Better Hands, Sand Mountains, Coshelav, Teoc, Swarners and more!

 Our puppies are for the discerning Bloodhound owner and are selectively bred, receiving the best care possible. A $300 fee is required to hold a spot or choose a pup and is subtracted from the total. We do offer transport or shipping at additional cost. 

 Puppies range from $1800 to $2000 for limited AKC registration.  Full AKC registration is not typically given.  

 All puppies will have age appropriate vaccines, deworming, vet check, microchips, breeder support and come with their own puppy starter kit. Contact us with what you are looking for or if we can help you decide if a Bloodhound is right for you.
